No, not me! Yesterday I received some exciting news...my niece, Amy, is engaged! She was ecstatic when she called to tell me. Her ring is beautiful and she has a wonderful fiance named Greyson. They have been dating for quite some time. Greyson is so nice and will be an excellent addition to our family. Now, we just have to wait until August 2009. Easier said than done but we have all the fun stuff to look forward to such as dress shopping, location planning, catering, photographer, etc.
Amy will graduate this May and has interviewed for several jobs. Greyson is getting his master's degree and will graduate next year.
Please pray for these two young people as they start out on their wonderful journey to marriage.
On an unpleasant note, things have been pretty rough for me the last few days. Lots of painful days with the migraines and fibromyalgia.

- In February 2005, I was diagnosed with three chronic illnesses. The first illness, scleritis, is an auto-immune disease which causes thinning of the white layer of my left eye. Fibromyalgia, my second diagnosis, is an increasingly recognized chronic pain illness which is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal aches, pain and stiffness, soft tissue tenderness, general fatigue and sleep disturbances. Last but NOT least migraine headaches. Then, in 2007 I learned I had Hashimoto's disease, an autoimmune disease of the thyroid.
